USA — A nation in denial — a global crisis

Okay so this is the first serious post I am making as some who leans conservative but identify’s as neither liberal nor conservative nor democrat not republican nor anything that represents supporting a systematic machine.

Lets stop all the bull**it. Lets stop all the lies ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE. Lets admit the reality. We, got ourselves into a crisis based on denial, and this is going to be a crisis that denial cannot get us out of.

It frustrates me no one on either side is speaking truth. It blows my mind that we have not stopped the corrupt media. Its unfathomable that we couldn’t have found a mild mannered person who supported similar radical ideas to Trump that were not so clearly corruptible.

Now a lot of people seem to think I am a Trump supporter. I am not. However I hate what we have defined as “the liberal movement” even more. I am aware technically its not the liberal movement we fight, its the progressive movement that tries to claim liberal ideals that we fight.

But all this is irrelevant.

Whether you love or hate Trump, he came to power because of a nation that was simply in denial. It started with conservatives not taking the numbers seriously. I asked someone I consider a good internet conservative friend, Marla Hughes, early in the campaigns what her thoughts on this topic was.

I think her thought, was the same as most other conservatives at the time. Her reply was something similar to:

Don’t worry this is just the Ron Paul supporters and radicals claiming what they always do and using internet to make it appear they are more liked than they are

These were not her exact words, but they were what I believe were the sentiments behind her words.

A nation in denial.

The media, equally in denial. They picked Trump because they were in denial about how much republicans hated Clinton. They didn’t realize republicans LITERALLY would have voted for mickey mouse first — and as is predictably the case after 8 years of one party in control — the other party comes back with vengeance.

I am sorry to the DIE HARD trump supporters, but even those who voted for trump, vastly did so because they expected that Clinton would have been far worse, not because they actually support trump.

I have radical ideas I would like to see implemented in this country, but I am not so foolish enough to think we should implement countless radical ideas all at the same time. Even Obama was humble in his methods by comparison.

I have picked at both sides at sat back and said I would give Trump the chance to do things, because that is what I do as a US citizen, I let the will of the people be heard. When the bills start coming forward, thats when I start speaking up.

Now its time to face the fact — despite our denial on both sides, we are actually in a lot of trouble with trump. Seriously lets look at the bills he and his cabinet are submitting.

HR 861 — To terminate the Environmental Protection Agency.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. TERMINATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY.

The Environmental Protection Agency shall terminate on December 31, 2018.

That’s it ladies and gentlemen. The entire bill. Simply… end the EPA. Even if you support this, do you really think its a good idea to implement dozens and dozens of dismantles many people rely on at this point… just overnight?

How about the next one:

HR 899 — To terminate the Department of Education.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. TERMINATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2018.

Again folks, thats the entirety of the bill. Seriously. I want to see the breakup of the department of education. I want to see the corruption of government in school stripped, but do I think its a good idea to just… end it… not slow implementation of anything else? What about the fact the DOE is the what that initiates laws like… oh ya know… kids must go to school? So are we saying Harry Potter with his abusive step parents could have just stayed locked in a closet and no one would have been the wiser — nor cared?

Should I move on? How about:

HR 785 — To preserve and protect the free choice of individual employees to form, join, or assist labor organizations, or to refrain from such activities.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “National Right-to-Work Act”.

SEC. 2. AMENDMENTS TO THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS ACT.

(a) Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (the “Act”) (29 U.S.C. 157) is amended by striking “except to” and all that follows through “authorized in section 8(a)(3)”.

(b) Section 8(a) of the Act (29 U.S.C. 158(a)) is amended by striking “: Provided, That” and all that follows through “retaining membership” in paragraph (3).

© Section 8(b) of the Act (29 U.S.C. 158(b)) is amended by striking “or to discriminate” and all that follows through “retaining membership” in paragraph (2) and by striking “covered by an agreement authorized under subsection (a)(3) of this section” in paragraph (5).

(d) Section 8(f) of the Act (29 U.S.C. 158(f)) is amended by striking clause (2) and by redesignating clauses (3) and (4) as (2) and (3), respectively.

SEC. 3. AMENDMENT TO THE RAILWAY LABOR ACT.

Section 2 of the Railway Labor Act (45 U.S.C. 152) is amended by striking paragraph Eleventh.

Um… I know the above is a little confusing to follow, but seriously here is what is says in laymans terms “the right for people to join together and demand things from a company is okay, and its equally okay for the company to terminate all those people and not meet their demands”.

In other words, unions — completely gone across the country. All of them. I am not a huge supporter of unions and think cooperatives would be a much better fit, but unions are a necessary evil in the world — without them, quality of life is going to go WAY down in america — especially without an EPA to keep pollution in control.

These are some pretty drastic changes, and this is still only the beginning.

This is not a move backwords in time. This will not bring us back to the 1950’s and make us safer. Its simply going to take America down a different path than the one its currently on.

No matter what side of the fence you are on, you really need to stop and begin asking yourself, are we on the path you really want us on. Do you really think the best course for america is to continue to have back and forth battles with two sides of a nation that seem to hate each other?

When are we going to set the media aside on both sides of the fence, and start coming together where it really matters THE ISSUES.

The the press do what it does and let trump make his claims and do what he does. If there is corruption to be exposed, I assure you, it will be. They won’t stop trying to poke holes until he is gone — and the same is true in return.

We need to focus on the issues not on the media. Are these the things you TRULY voted for?

I can only pray for the future of America in such times.
