The truth is, there are a handful of cryptocurrency projects that want to fight back against Google. Each one of them has their own unique twist on the subject, and yet we still think we will succeed where they will not.

What sets The Advertising Currency apart from any other project trying to address this issue of industry corruption in marketing and advertising?

Honestly answering the questions of why another project and what sets us apart is not something that is easy to explain. What sets us apart overall is research and strategy.

Whereas we need to be as transparent in our project as we can, we also need to be smart with not revealing our strategy. So I intend to share with you what sets us apart, but not give you every detail of everything we are doing.

Research Research Research:

The thing that most sets us apart from other plans is the amount of research we have gathered to make our plan possible. A few examples of data we have, understand, and will be utilizing are:

A. What are the top 10 industries in terms of spending money on advertising?
B. What are the top 10 companies in terms of spending the most money on advertising?
C. What are the top 10 companies that spend money with Google advertising?
D. What is the roll of search in Google’s advertising platform?

Innovation is always key

This is the second thing that sets The Advertising Currency apart from other projects.

We are not making a search engine and we are not trying to recreate Google Adwords and Google Adsense with cryptocurrency.

As you can read in our article about the advertising platform we are creating, our platform is refreshing and takes a more social approach at tackling advertising and marketing.

Not about team profits

Our project is entirely about community activism and community profits, not about our team making money.

As you can learn by reading our article Community Based ICOs no one in our project makes more than 2.5% of raised funds.

That’s a total of $25000 USD out of every $1,000,000.

Not a pump and dump:

I am well known and well hated for bashing scams in the marketing industry. I don’t involve myself with anything that even remotely looks like a scam. ‘

This project is well thought out, well researched, has a unique perspective, has an interesting profit plan, and is doing things other coins are not.

On top of all this, I am a well known marketer that can easily be researched with 5000 connections on facebook, 10,000+ on Google+, and 15,000+ on linkedin.

Not a token:

We are not creating an ethereum based token, or token of any kind for our project. If we need we may issue tokens until our currency is fully ready to be released, but we are creating a full utility based cryptocurrency.

We have not released all the details and plans we are creating for The Advertising Currency because they are not relevant at this stage nor important to the overall success of this project.

The mere existence of a currency with its own blockchain is all that need be known at this point. None the less — we are not creating a token.

The next couple of reasons for getting involved with this project and considering an investment in this ICO, deserve topics of their own instead of being put on a list.

Community

This needs to be the cornerstone of our project. We need to have a huge community. Its like building an army of soldiers. The larger and more supportive the community, the more successful this project will become.

In the comments on yesterdays article Corruption of the highest level I was asked for more details about getting involved with our project and community and I left a nice summary of things people can do.

Overall its about sharing experiences and bringing others into the community.

Its about creating a place that at the end of the day, you want to come and open up because you enjoy the people you can interact with. Its about a community of ideas, thinkers, creatives, helpers, doers, and leaders working together to fight a major corporate injustice.

It is this mindset and this community that will set us apart from other projects. Communities die when teams are all about profits. It no longer becomes fun. It becomes business. Business is not taking on a corporation the size of google — only community can do that.

Our community will be having writing/blogging contests, graphical contests, referring contests, and all sorts of other things to involve and interact with its members. It is this activist cause, built around a carefree community that creates a fun atmosphere that will set us apart. We are not at this point yet, but we are quickly gaining momentum towards this ultimate goal.

Solid Investment Plan

Nothing could be more important to someone planning to invest than a near guarantee on returns, and our plan offers a near guarantee. As we discussed in the article Contracted Advertising, this plan is an investors dream come true (and we have heard as much from a couple investors).

For every $1 million US dollars we raise, we take $700,000 of that money and enter into contracts to obtain advertising that we can resell. Because we are purchasing via contracts, we will get a MINIMUM of 20%, more likely 50% to 85% increase in retail value from those contracts.

This means an instant and near guaranteed return (short of the world falling apart and advertising being useless).

This is how it works:

$40,000,000 USD raised (100% of funding efforts achieved)
+Each TAC Token has a value of $8 ($40,000,000 / 5,000,000 TAC)

$28,000,000 USD used to buy advertising contracts (70% of funds raised)
+$60,000,000 USD in retail advertising space obtained
++$7,000,000 USD left after paying 2.5% team members
